How to use Zonal Tags

LongoMatch can show you all the events on the field, referred to as zonal tagging, as you mark the tag in a certain zone of the field. The button to open this specific window is located at the bottom left of the LongoMatch screen.

For the initial preparation of this window, please go to the paragraph about the creation of tag buttons in this User Manual. There you can find details on how to use the zonal tagging feature and how it will be displayed on the field.

Zonal Tags are tagged either as a point or as a trajectory. The point will show a circle matching each team colour, similarly to the events in the timeline. The trajectory is an arrow going from point A to point B, showing the path of the tag. Arrows will also appear with border colors matching the respective team colors for easy identification. Each field marking is filled with the main color of the tag.

When you double click a zonal tag, the event will open in the video window and will automatically play.

Using the filters to preset the events you want displayed, only the events you have filtered in will be seen on the field, giving you a better insight into a specific play situation. See paragraph on ‘Filtering of events’ for more information.
