Video Player window

The video player window displays the video in use and lets you control the state and position of the stream.

You can toggle between play and pause by clicking the Play/Pause button or by clicking the space bar. Video play speed can be changed using the 'play rate scale' located to the right of the video. You can change the position of the stream using the time scale with the video slider button.

Under this scale, you will find the decrease/increase of speed button to adjust players’ actions. Keyboard shortcuts for this are the 'up/down' arrows, where 'up arrow' increases playing speed and 'down arrow' reduces speed.

Fast forward and rewind is combined with the ‘Jump in seconds’ you use. The amount of seconds to jump is located beside these two control buttons and this can changed according to your own preferences.

The “Prev Play” button lets you go back to the start of a play. You can change the volume using the “Volume” button.

When a game is loaded into the video player, the “Close Play” button is displayed. Click this option to unload the play and view the full video again.

When you are viewing a playlist the “Prev Play” and “Next Play” button are used to jump to the previous/next play in that list.

A zoom button is also located at the right hand side of the Video Player Window. To zoom, click this button and choose the level of magnification. Drag the magnifier rectangle to the area you wish to enlarge. Alt+click to zoom out.

Tip

Besides the video player speed, there are some other ways to step through the video. This is useful when the correct video frame is needed to make annotations.

Use the left and right arrows to move respectively one frame to the left.
